Have any of y’all ever read the book Don’t Waste your Life by John Piper?
I haven’t. We’ve owned a copy for a long time, and it’s sort of been on my mental list of “books that I want to read when I finally regain a life.” Which may be never because, even though I only have 2 classes left, I feel like I will NEVER FINISH SCHOOL and get through these insurmountable piles of reading and writing assignments. And by the time I do finish school, I’ll have {at least} two little bambinos running all over the place, rocking my world in a good kinda way.
ANYWAY! All that to say, I have this friend who is completely passionate about not wasting her life. She is unsatisfied with the status quo and wants to use her life to make a real difference for eternity. This so inspires and encourages me!
You may remember my post a few months ago about the hunger campaign that she and a few other Auburn University students started call Why Care?
Well, AK is up to something else! Something big! Something that would be an amazing ministry to formerly oppressed young women. Something that I believe would bring great glory and honor to our Savior. But she needs support to make this happen! So, go read AK’s story and watch her video here.
